13th August 2009 mark another history for the Shockwaverian's after our application to registered the club under the Malaysian Sport Commissioner are successfully been approved by the MSN. Alhamdullillah, after several years of struggle, and hardwork, finally we have made it this far.. Thanx to Abang Pian for the helping hand and guidance tru the registration process. Hope to see more of paintball team doing the same thing as we are. soo that we will had strong paintball community in Malaysia.. Ganbate~ ^.^

Now our team are officially called Kelab Paintball Shockwave.

These are some picture taken from the ceremony that been held in Majlis Sukan Negara, with another 112 represantative from 52 others sport club, such as Silat, Football, Teakwon-do, Surfboarding and many more..

it was a long time before we got time to had fun, chillin', 'lepak'ing, and hanging with frenz and enjoyed without thinking about paintball, work or anything else.. hehehe..

the journey took 2 hour and stop 2 time for having breakfast and re-breakfast at petronas just to make sure sanusi aka our driver happy :)

After arriving.. First thing to do.. go for the ride, then surau.. errr.rrr.r surau first, then the ride..

Werdnahol Cup ver3.2 - The Rulebook

Guys here's are some info about the 3+2 format.


Terms :

Players : The first 3 players who starts the game.
Jokers : The other 2 players hiding behind the starting grid.
Stand-By Area : The area behind the starting grid. Where the 2 Jokers are stationed before the game starts. It’s marked.

FAQ Section

Q: How the game is played?
A: 3 Players on the break (start) another 2 Jokers will enter the game from behind the starting grid after 15 seconds (when whistle blown).

Q: Can these 2 Jokers (behind the starting grid) starts shooting when the game starts?
A : Nope....but when the whistle is blown, they have to exit their stand-by area and insert into the game to play. Beware, they can’t shoot while inside the Stand-By Area.

Q: What if the 2 Jokers don’t come out from the Stand-By area when the whistle is blown?
A: They can stand there forever, but can’t shoot. In order to shoot, the Jokers has to step out from the Stand-By area to engage shots. If you’re still in the Stand-By area when your opponent moves up, you’re a free turkey for them……

Q: What if they shoot in the Stand-By Area?
A: He’ll be eliminated.

Q: Can these 2 Jokers give instruction when the game starts?
A: Yes, they're actually "live" players once the game starts. They can start giving instructions, communicating to their teammates.

Q: So, if they pop their head out to give instructions and get shot, are they eliminated?
A: Yeah. Pop your head out somemore lah….

Q: Which direction can these 2 Jokers exit?
A: Anywhere. Left exit or Right exit.

Q: Must these 2 Jokers exit at the same time?
A: Like I said, They can stay there forever, but can’t shoot. Take your time to study the game and exit wherever there’s a weaker side. The longer you stay in the Stand-by area, the lesser fire-power you have in your team.

Q: Will the bunkers be designed for easy exit?
A : Yes

Q: So basically it’s only the starting which is different from the normal games?
A: Yup. That’s the only difference. Plan your exit carefully, make sure your 3 Players give you the right instructions for which exit to take. One wrong call, you got one dead teammate. This format is designed to make you guys start communicating and talking.

Q: How long for each game?
A: 5 minutes.

Paintball Tournament in Penang.

Werdna Hol Cup 2009 Ver 3.2

Tournament Name : Werdna Hol Cup 2009 Ver 3.2 (it's not Cup actually, but people recognize it as Werdna Hol Cup all these while. It's actually a One-Off tourney)

Tournament Type : League / One-Off

Format : 3 Start, 2 Insertion after 10/15 seconds. + 2 reserves.

Time : 5 minutes per game.

Division : Open (ok, it should be changed to Closed) This tourney is to promote more new/rusty players to get back into the game. If D1 players step-in, it'll scare everyone off. Got it?

Date : 4th & 5th July 2009 (3rd July 2009 Captain’s meeting 7pm on site. Field walking allowed after 1pm on the same day.)

Venue: Juru Paintball Club, Penang.

Time : Tourney starts at 8am.

Field Type : Grass, Outdoor.

Weather : Hot Sunny Day (whoar!! Can predict weather somemore!!! Bomoh damn powderful!)

Field : 1 Field - 44-piece SupAirBall Bunker set.

Location Map : Will be posted. It’s in the mainland, not Penang Island.

Marshalling Body : MPRO style beb….and mixture of new trainee marshals. Wrong calls are bound to be made. It might be their mistake, or your lousy skills…..

Marker Setting/Mode : Semi Unlimited. No Lamping…. Bring your own marker.

Rulebook : WERD RULEBOOK – (WErdna Rulebook for Dummies) / USPL 2009 with slight modifications. More info on Captain’s meeting.

Paintballs : Rm160.00 / box of 2000 rounds.

Registration : Rm160.00 ( No ID Tags)

Maximum Teams : 20 Teams.(Max 24 Teams)

Prizes : 1st Rm2,000.00 + Medals
2nd Rm1,500.00 + Medals
3rd Rm1,000.00 + Medals
4th Medals Only.
